Pastoral Care

Thorpe’s Pastoral Care is central to what we want to achieve as a school. If you are safe and happy in your surroundings you are likely to flourish not just personally but also academically. At Thorpe, we build individual relationships with all pupils. Research shows that these individualised relationships are proven to help lower stress, increase happiness and lower any educational special need. Boys across the Middle School will also be tested to see their general happiness in several areas. This will highlight any issues early to the staff so strategies can be put in place and make Thorpe truly a champion of mental health.
