Joining Sixth Form

It's your Voice. It's our Belief.

Come and see what we have to offer and discuss with our outstanding staff at our forthcoming Sixth Form information Evening on Thursday 22nd Feb at 6.30pm. We will have presentations from Mr McCallion and Mr Burnett, as well as staff on hand to discuss the details of the courses we will offer.

We have a second Open Evening in March, but please do contact the school in the mean time, if you would like to discuss any specific questions you may have about a place in Year 12 in September 2024, or any future year. Mr McCallion would be happy to discuss with you, either over the phone, or in person.

Sixth Form FAQ

We wish our child to join mid-year. Is this possible?
Should you require a mid-term or mid-year start, please contact Admissions team to enquire about availability.

Do I need to share school reports with Thorpe when making an enquiry?
We request that a copy of your child’s latest school report is emailed to us prior to a visit.

My child has Special Educational Needs. Can we still apply for a place?
Most recent school reports and an Educational Psychologist’s report are requested before a visit and assessments.

Will Thorpe contact my child’s current school when we apply for a place?
Confidential school reports are requested after Registration and are considered before a place can be offered. Therefore, it is advisable for you to contact your child’s school in advance of registering.

We would like to apply for Financial Assistance with the fees. How do we do this?
Bursary applications are accepted. Please speak to the Admissions team.
