Matron with Admin Duties

Required from March/April 2021

Monday to Friday 08:30hrs to 16:30hrs (37.5 hours per week) term time only plus INSET

The school is seeking a caring person to provide medical and pastoral support to pupils.  In addition to being responsible for medical care, he/she will also be expected to undertake a varied range of administrative tasks.

Ideally candidates should have experience in an educational or medical environment, general office administration, hold first-aid qualifications and a full clean driving licence.  Skills required are a sympathetic disposition, an understanding of young people, a good manner with parents and staff, proficient IT skills, ability to prioritise and manage own work, discretion, patience and flexibility.

In return, the school can offer a good salary according to experience, free lunches during term time, pension scheme and reduced school fees after one year’s service (subject to available places and passing entrance test).
