Year 8 Physical Education
In Year 8 the pupils will build on previous learning from Year 7. There will be added skills and rules in the different game in rugby and football for the U13 age group. Pitch sizes and the number of players increase in both sports.
The pupils will look at different aspects during physical education lessons which will give them a wider range of core skills from differing activities.

We have 3 specific areas for teaching physical education and games.
Playing fields - 7 acres of fields, an astro surface tennis court and a pavilion with changing facilities and an area for match teas
Sports Hall - New facility, which will give the pupils opportunities to experience different activities
Swimming Pool - 18m indoor swimming pool with changing facilities
