Year 7 took part in a map reading afternoon as part of Thorpe's DofE to Primary school scheme. The boys firstly spent the first hour working on some group activities led by Mrs Macken in the dining hall. They learnt how to read maps and how to look for landmarks. All boys worked hard to learnt new skills before heading off into Gerrards Cross. The boys then went out into the local area in small group to find four sites. At each site, the boys had several activities to do before returning to school. It was a great afternoon and special thanks goes to Mrs Macken for hard work in organising it.
