This Saturday the U9s A and B team competed in the annual Year 4 St Bernard’s tournament. The boys were competing against some great schools. As ever the tournament was well run and it was great to see so many boys and girls playing excellent football.

Although Thorpe did not win the tournament, they played an attractive free-flowing football. Milan, Hugo and Harry were like watching a young Salah, Mane and Firmino. They scored lots of goals between them, and I am sure will go on to score many more this season. Special mention must go to Jake at the back, who was fantastic. He reads the game well and is strong in the tackle. I did mention to him he was like watching Rio Ferdinand, however, he said: “who is that?”.  Top work Year 3 and 4 boys!
