Ash the Viking from Vikingschoolvisits.com came to visit us and began the day by teaching the boys how to form a shield wall effectively, how to intimidate your enemy before he gave us a run through the different types of weaponry and strategy that Saxons and Vikings used to defeat their enemies.

The boys learnt about the religions of the Saxons & Vikings, examined artefacts, discussed their diet, trade routes and navigation techniques.

The boys were energetic in their descriptions of to day to Mrs Bevan and I’m sure the boy’s parents were also regaled with facts over dinner too!
