Life in The Middle is always very busy, which is something our boys thrive on because in their words, ‘being bored is not an option!’

Given the unusual circumstances this term changes to timings for this term have been applied as per guidance to parents from Headmaster

On days when boys have games in the afternoon, they can be collected from the playing fields at the relevant time; boys not being collected will be brought back to school either for collection or for after school clubs.

We understand that as many of our parents work they want the facility of an early drop-off or late pick up, so we offer the following before and after school clubs:

07.30 – 08.20 Breakfast Club

15.40 – 17.15 Prep after school club 

17.00 – 18.00 After school club (all years)

16.00 – 17.00 Supervised Prep

Breakfast Club and After School Club

Breakfast Club

There is Breakfast Club for boys over 5 years of age in Reception and all other years.  Breakfast of cereal, toast and fruit is served between 7:30am and 8:00am. There is a charge of £4.00 for this but boys who have already had breakfast at home can come for supervision only at a charge of £3.00.

Once Breakfast Club is over the boys move out into the playground and continue to be supervised by our Gap Year student. Boys in Reception to Year 5 are taken down to the Lower School at 8:20am. 

After School Club

• After School Club is held at the Lower School until 6pm. 
• All pupils must be collected by 6:00pm.

Charges for After School care

• The charge for After School Club is £5.00 per hour (or part). There is no charge for those waiting until older brothers finish their normal school day i.e. up to 4:15pm. 
• Any boys collected after 6:00pm will incur a surcharge.
• There will be no charge for boys waiting for the school bus.

Please note children between the ages of 5 and 7 can only spend a maximum of 2 hours per day in total in breakfast club/afterschool club.
