The Griffin Gazette | Autumn Term 2021

It has been wonderful to have a ‘normal’ term in school after 18 months of disruption. The boys have been fantastic and it has been great to have them fully back in school, engaging in sport and drama and creating a buzz in their lessons. We have enjoyed having proper sports fixtures once again and progress in the County and National competitions in different Year groups once again testifies to Thorpe punching well above its weight. Our first ever fixture against Eton Collegewas also a victory and we look forward to more fixtures against them in the future. The House competition has featured strongly this term and music was one of the big events with about a quarter of our pupils performing as soloists in the competition. With Carol services and a Christmas show to finish off the term, what more could we ask for to set us up for a wonderful Christmas.
