Curriculum

Welcome to the curriculum at Thorpe House school.  We like to think we offer something a little special throughout all the Year groups from Reception through to Year 11 and hopefully onwards to Sixth Form in the future.

Teaching and learning are at the forefront of our thinking when planning our curriculum but also believe that ensuring that the boys have essential interpersonal skills, resilience and the ability to work independently is vitally important.  In addition to these skills we think that an enriched curriculum including the provision of modern foreign languages, music, drama and other creative subjects are important throughout the School and this is built into our provision throughout all of the different stages of school life.

The curriculum is fully integrated and links seamlessly between all three of our school areas please explore further by looking in more detail at each of the three schools:

Lower School        -              Reception – Year 5

Middle School    -              Year 6 – Year 8

Senior School     -              Year 9 – Year 11

If you have any queries regarding the curriculum here at Thorpe house please do not hesitate to contact me by e mail at [email protected]
