Celebrating Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday

It would be Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday today, so we’ve been talking about our fav Dahl books, here’s what some of our teachers had to say:

Mr Ayres – Tales of the Unexpected
Mrs Tyler and Mrs Mac – Esio Trot
Mrs Causer – The Enormous Crocodile
Miss Wilton – The Witches
Mr Day – George’s Marvellous Medicine
Mr Goodman – The Twits
Mrs Solloway – James and the Giant Peach

There’s been much excitement at Pre-Prep too as Mrs Causer and Miss Wilton’s class have been trying to catch the enormous crocodile that appeared on the Pre-Prep field. After overcoming various obstacles, they worked together using wooden blocks to build a bridge to cross the River Nile. Mrs. Hazell found the bridge rather wobbly, so two very helpful young gentlemen gave her the helping hand she needed. Finally they stumbled across the crocodile, managed to capture him and then returned him safely to class. What an adventure!
