Thorpe House was one of 154 lucky schools chosen to participate in the ‘read me and set me free‘ initiative for Shakespeare Week 2018. We were sent a child-friendly Shakespeare book which we read as a class before deciding where we would ‘set it free’ for others to enjoy. We asked Mr Worth to take the book on his journey home to London yesterday and he left it on the seat of a number 209 bus. Hopefully the next person to find it will enjoy reading it like we did and then hide it for someone else to find!
How far will it go? Follow the journey of these books on Twitter using the hashtag #Shpassiton. Thank you to Ms Hampshire’s Year 5 class for filming themselves reading the book yesterday.
