Beep Beep Day 2016 is organised by the charity Brake and is a great way to engage children with the road safety basics through fun activities, while raising awareness among parents and the wider community about protecting children on roads. And this year Reception looked fabulous in their brightest more high visibility clothes! Mrs Causer and Miss Wilton carried out an experiment in a large ‘black out’ tent simulating what it would be like to be seen by drivers at night. They shone torches (for headlights) to see who could be seen and how coats in bright colours with reflectors keep us safe. They also decorated traffic light biscuits to remind us that we cross the road when the light turns green.
