Full-Time Teacher of English & Part-Time Teacher of Mathematics (3.6 days)
We looking for two enthusiastic, well qualified members of staff to teach from Year 7 to GCSE level and the capability to teach ‘A’ level in the future. The first vacancy is for a full-time teacher of English and the second vacancy is for a part-time teacher of Mathematics (3.6 days).
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of their subject through a delivery of engaging lessons.

We are looking for a Gap Student for the 2020/21 academic year on a fixed one-year contract. Our gap student is a valued member of the team who is involved in assisting with a wide range of tasks within the school. Although no previous work experience is necessary, candidates should be enthusiastic, flexible, proactive and, ideally, able to drive.
We offer a generous salary for the year (working 7.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday, term time only plus INSET days) and the benefit of free lunches.
This is an ideal position for candidates taking a gap year between school and university and we would particularly welcome interest from former pupils of Thorpe House School.
